It was another action-packed run of events for Colson Photography, with the camera travelling across Victoria to capture the speed, excitement and personalities of competitive dog sports and motorsport. The schedule included Geelong Obedience Dog Club Sprint Dog, the Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria Sprint Dog, and the German Shorthaired Pointer Club RATG and Sprint Dog events. SprintDog events feature dogs racing over a 100-metre course, making fast reactions and timing essential for both competitors and photographers.

The German Shorthaired Pointer Club event provided another opportunity for Colson Photography to capture high-energy canine action, with the club’s SprintDog trial held over the September 26–27 weekend. Dogs Victoria’s current event listings confirm the German Shorthaired Pointer Club SprintDog trial as part of the Victorian SprintDog calendar. From explosive starts to dogs charging towards the finish, these events provide plenty of challenging photographic moments and showcase the athleticism, enthusiasm and bond between dogs and their handlers.

From the dog track to the race track, Colson Photography also spent a day at Winton Motor Raceway covering the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series. The September 25–27 round at Winton featured categories including TA2, IRC, Legend Cars Australia, Formula Ford and Formula RX8, bringing plenty of high-speed action to the iconic Victorian circuit. With a busy schedule covering dog sports, SprintDog, RATG, motorsport and major racing events, Colson Photography continues to provide professional event photography across Victoria, capturing the moments that competitors, clubs, teams and families can remember long after the action has finished.
