Colson Photography – Refund Policy

Colson Photography is committed to delivering high‑quality photographic products and services. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for digital downloads, prints, framed products, and photography services purchased through our website and Sunshine Photo Cart.

By purchasing from Colson Photography, you agree to the terms below, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Digital Downloads (JPEG Files)

Digital photo purchases are non‑refundable once the files have been downloaded.

Refunds are only provided if:

• The file is corrupted or cannot be opened
• You receive the incorrect image
• A technical issue on our end prevents delivery

If you experience any issues with your digital files, please contact us and we will promptly replace or re‑deliver the correct images.

2. Printed Products & Framed Items

All prints and framed products are custom‑made to order. Refunds or replacements are provided in the following situations:

Eligible for Refund or Replacement

• The product arrives damaged
• The print quality is defective
• The wrong size or image was supplied
• The order is lost in transit

Not Eligible

• Change of mind
• Ordering the wrong size or image
• Minor colour variations between screen and print (normal due to calibration differences)

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days with a photo of the issue so we can arrange a replacement.

3. Photography Services (Sessions & Events)

Cancellations

• More than 48 hours before the session: Full refund
• Less than 48 hours before the session: 50% refund
• No‑show: No refund

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once at no cost if requested at least 24 hours before your session.

Service Issues

If Colson Photography is unable to complete your session due to illness, emergency, or equipment failure, you will receive either:

• A full refund
• A rescheduled session at no additional cost

4. Incorrect Orders or Technical Errors

If an error occurs during checkout, payment, or gallery access (including Sunshine Photo Cart delivery issues), we will correct the problem and re‑deliver your order at no cost.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a remedy if a product or service is faulty, not delivered, or not as described.
